Piercing the Veil Returns to Skylark Farm January 13-15, 2012
It is amazing to think that we are in relationship with a God that makes vital questions personally relevant:
What is God up to in your life? Where has He taken you in your journey? How is He equipping you for the next leg of the race?
It is our desire to see men fully alive and walking through this life as adopted sons of God. Jesus accomplished more by dying on the Cross, rising in his Resurrection and taking his position of honor by way of the Ascension than we can comprehend, but we can be assured of this…that Jesus’ sacrifice was to set you free to live to the fullest. Therefore, the answer to the above questions for all of us is that God has and will continue to lead and equip us into a journey of freedom and discovery - free from the things that would enslave us so that we may discover and fulfill our purpose in His kingdom.
Do you believe that is true?

On Friday, January 13th, nearly two dozen men arrived once again at Skylark Farm to spend time journeying together. There was good food, great fellowship, and a lot of laughter as members of the PTV Team shared their journeys of freedom and discovery.
We are grateful for every man who came and look forward to sharing more together as we continue to walk into the story God is laying ahead for each of us.

The Calling Intensive Retreat with Gary Barkalow
January 21-23, 2011
We had a life-changing weekend at Skylark Farm on January 21-23, 2011. Gary Barkalow from The Noble Heart led us on a journey deeper into our stories and desires and the journey God has us on to fulfill His purpose for each of our lives. All of the material from the 2010 Calling Retreat laid the groundwork for the Calling Intensive. The unique nature of the Calling Intensive is that each man spends a number of hours in advance of the retreat completing exercises designed to reveal God’s call on his life. During the course of the weekend, men had the opportunity not only to share their stories but to hear the stories of other men, going to a deeper level of friendship than most have ever known. We believe the Intensive was a fulfillment of Proverbs 20:5: “The purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.” The Lord definitely showed up in a powerful way as seven groups of four men lived out the teaching from the Calling Retreat, proceeding through each man’s story, desires and journey.

About Gary Barkalow
Gary has spent the last 7 years on the leadership team with Ransomed Heart Ministries and has been a speaker for this message based ministry whose mission is to recover the treasure of the Gospel, setting men and women free to live from the heart as God’s intimate allies. He recently started a new ministry, The Noble Heart, helping men and women understand their calling (their particular role in the Larger Story), which has been a topic of personal study for over twenty years.
Before joining Ransomed Heart, Gary was with Focus on the Family for nine years; first as the Director of Legislative and Cultural Affairs and later as the Director of Staff Development. Prior to his employment with Focus on the Family, Gary served as Vice President of the athletic branch of Campus Crusade for Christ, Athletes in Action. During his fifteen years with Athletes in Action, Gary performed gymnastic demonstration around the world, started several other sports divisions and developed A.I.A. ministries in Africa.
