Piercing the Veil believes the heart of God is good and is for each of us. We believe the Gospel message is the story of His pursuit of our hearts, best revealed through the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Piercing the Veil Returns to Skylark January 13-15, 2012
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
Many of us celebrate this idea of new found freedom and even adventure in Christ, but what does it look like to live in it? The world still pulls our attention... false desires somehow come back to the forefront... our circumstance includes pain and suffering... why do we struggle to live in the midst of a larger story? When we don't feel as though we're struggling are we somehow "missing it?" What does it really mean to rejoice in the midst of suffering? And do all of these questions and fears ultimately find us chasing more life, more freedom? Or do we find ourselves doubting God’s heart toward us and living in shame and condemnation?
On Friday, January 13th, nearly two dozen men arrived once again at Skylark Farm to spend time journeying together. There was good food, great fellowship, and a lot of laughter as members of the PTV Team shared their journeys of freedom and discovery.

Calling Intensive with Gary Barkalow - January 2011
We had a life-changing weekend at Skylark Farm on January 21-23, 2011. Gary Barkalow from The Noble Heart led us and almost two dozen other men on a journey deeper into our life stories; the journey God has each man on to uncover our true desires and fulfill His purpose for each of our lives. The Calling Intensive is unique in nature - each man spends a number of hours in advance of the retreat completing exercises designed to reveal God’s call on his life. During the course of the weekend, men had the opportunity not only to share their stories but to hear the stories of other men, going to a deeper level of friendship than most have ever known. We believe this is more of a beginning than an ending…and we look forward to where the Lord takes us from here.

Calling Retreat 2010
We had an overwhelming response to the Calling Retreat Weekend at Wintergreen! More than 90 men attended this three day event from as far away as Atlanta, GA and even Colorado! Gary Barkalow's message about Calling had deep resonance among those who attended. Whether you were able to join us or not, we've been revisiting every session from the weekend, one per week, as we seek to better understand the Glory of our lives in Christ. This week's focus is "Living Between Touches."
"I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you." (Ephesians 1:18) Eyes to see...a new heart...hope in the Lord. To have purpose. Meaning. The weightiness of your life...from God's perspective.
